The Art of Transmission:
Contemplation
(n). a practice of cultivating a deeper awareness of the poetry of reality.
Contemplation is about cultivating insight into, wisdom about, and connection with.
This ancient art of transmission is about inner vision; a yin practice of pausing, opening, listening, and receiving.
The Air Principle
Air is the space that makes life as we know it possible. Without air, there would be no breath, no sound, fire, rain, wind, or flight. As a medium of communication and transmission for essential processes of life, air illuminates the power and purpose of the yin principle: receptivity allows for activity. Like a blank page offers the pen space to communicate with clarity, air teaches us the purpose and poetry of emptiness as a spiritual practice. By emptying ourselves of distractions and desires, we clear the space to contemplate. We become better vessels for what is Divine.
